I found a site on Pinterest detailing 16 different foods you can regrow from kitchen scraps. Yeah right I thought. Well I tried it with celery and to my amazement…it worked!

I cut the end of the celery off as I normally would. I first put the celery in a bowl of water with the water level just below the top of the cutting. Within a few days…it sprouted leaves from the middle!
Every day I spritzed the top with water from a spray bottle to keep the leaves from drying out.
After two weeks I potted up the plant and stalks began to grow.
We have done this with garlic from the store as well and it works great. I will probably try it with onions next.
