Broccoli, Celery and Oregano

I wish I could say my broccoli was thriving but it is just not doing as well as my cabbage did. The cabbage reaped the benefit if the grow light until we transplanted it to our mock cold frame, but the broccoli got nudged out after a week to make room for the tomatoes and peppers.

The celery on the other hand is taking off with new growth every week. I will transplant it when I direct sow the celery seeds I ordered before discovering I could grow from store-bought.

I also planted oregano from seed and the seedlings have sprouted. I don’t think I will plant it outside, at least not all of it, but I have read that it is a good tomato companion.

This week I am planting carrot, chard and snap peas in the raised beds.
