Second Guessing

Sometimes we look at our life and wonder, what does it matter?

One person cannot change the world, nor one act make a difference.

Then we look closer.

We see that the “world” is much smaller than we thought. It’s our home, our backyard, our family, our friends. It’s our children’s laughter, our husbands smile, our families’ compassion.

Our world is big and full because of who and what is in it. We have made it. We have surrounded ourselves in it. And we can change it…for the better. We can pick each other up when we trip over our own two feet. We can lead by example with our love for one another.

And maybe, by taking care of our own world, we can stop worrying about the things we cannot change and what doesn’t matter anyway.
