Last December, we planted seeds outside under a cold frame hoping for a winter garden. Nothing sprouted and then the bitter temperatures settled in for a good long stay.
Since Spring has finally decided to show up, I’ve been checking “under the hood” of the cold frame every day or so and my efforts were rewarded…we have sprouts!
Please enjoy this haiku in celebration.
Can you see it there?
Mixed in among the egg shells?
Spinach, maybe chard.
