Spinach, cilantro and lettuce…oh my!
Some of the spinach was starting to go to seed so I’m hoping that by chopping it down we’ll get more production.
The cilantro smells so good and the lettuce is so soft and buttery…I can’t wait for dinner!

My favorite meal
I’m so jealous! I really want to start planting here and utilize the year round weather but I’m so intimidated by it all! Tacos for dinner here too though! 🙂
This is the second round from our cold frame! Every time we go out to look at it, Joe asks me if the carrots are ready. Last year he pulled them out and ate them right there…dirt and all!
Don’t be intimidated, just get started with a few containers of herbs, lettuce and tomatoes. Lettuce grows so fast and it’s easy. We had so many things that didn’t work out last year and even already this year. I would get frustrated last year but then I’d just plant some more and hope for the best. Nature is resilient. 🙂
