More planting yesterday. I planted the beans and corn, including the three sisters garden detailed in my previous post.
I also started to cage and stake the tomatoes. I’m going to see what works better since the caging from last year did not work out so well. I’ll use stronger cages and am using the bamboo that came with our trees as stakes.
Then I had a lot of fun playing with the chickens. They were a little sassier than usual.
And, I noticed that their faces are changing. It looks like their cheeks are puffing out which means that their wattles are coming in!
