When out to check the laying box
A giant egg I spotted
Easily twice as big
We hoped it had not rotted
I cracked the egg to cook it up
It was no surprise what I found
Two yolks jumped out onto the pan
I bet they weighed a pound
The boys were very hungry
They gobbled it all up
Not a drop spilled on the floor
