There’s cabbage, sage and broccoli
Oregano and thyme
Lavender and brussel sprouts
And more to come in time
The starts will sit all winter
Through snow and wind and sleet
I’m skeptical and hopeful too
If it works, oh what a feat!
Time will give the answer
A month or two will show
If gardening in winter
Will be the way to grow!
