It is amazing what happens in the garden when you leave for a few days!
It is almost as though the plants know how delighted you will be to return to a lush, green and growing paradise.
Here is what we found…
My beautiful Autumn olive, repaired by acidic fertilizer.
Blueberries and chokeberries the deer had eaten, growing back behind cages.
Romas started on several plants.

Perhaps the most amazing growth is from our volunteer squash plant that is growing from our compost pile. It is either butternut or acorn.
What wonderful progress my little plants made while I was gone! I guess a few days of no worrying over them gives them just the independence they need.
