The roses are blooming and growing so grand.
The strawberries soon will take over the land.
The amaranth is lovely and oh so serene
The autumn olive so strong and so silvery green.
And finally the pumpkins are sprouting their head,
As the fog tucks them in, a soft blanket in bed.
